ServNet Scholarship Program

ServNet has established a scholarship program to assist employees and their children, stepchildren, and grandchildren who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the ServNet Scholarship Program must be:

  • Be grandchildren or dependent* children of full-time or part-time employees** of ServNet Auctions companies in North America with a minimum of one (1) year of employment as of the application deadline date.
    *Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
    OR
  • Be full-time or part-time* United States employees** of ServNet Auctions.
    **Employee must be employed as of the date of notification to be eligible. If employees become disabled, retire, or die during the application process, their children, stepchildren, or grandchildren are still eligible.
    AND
  • Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll, or who are already enrolled in undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • The academic year will be from the fall of 2025 through the summer of 2026. Attendance can include fall, winter, spring, and summer semesters.
  • Dependent* children, stepchildren, and grandchildren of full-time United States employees** of ServNet Auctions must plan to enroll in a full-time (minimum 12 credit hours each semester) course of undergraduate study.
  • Full-time or part-time* United States employees* of ServNet Auctions must plan to enroll in a part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester) course of undergraduate study.

Award Amounts

Up to eighteen (18) awards will be granted.

  • Ten awards of $3,500 will be awarded to full-time students attending four-year schools.
  • Five awards of $2,000 will be awarded to full-time students attending vocational-technical or two-year colleges, not to exceed the total distribution.
  • Three awards of $1,500 will be awarded to employees enrolling in a part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours per
    semester) course of undergraduate study.

Awards can be used for any education-related expenses.

Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of ServNet play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in late March. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of ServNet. Awards will be paid in one installment in early August.

As part of your application, you must upload the following document:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.


    NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 21, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
