As we work together to build the leading ultra-high net worth wealth manager, we’re committed to creating differentiated offerings – both for our clients and our employees. CI Financial and Corient have established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. This site has everything you need to learn and apply to the program.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the CI Financial and Corient Family Scholarship Program must:
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award, the amount of which will be determined by CI Financial and Corient.
Awards are renewable up to three times or until an undergraduate degree or vocational-technical program completion certification is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance, full-time enrollment, continued parent/guardian employment and employee annual income requirement. The maximum number of awards a student may receive is four.
Awards can be used for any education-related expenses.
Awards are for undergraduate and vocational-technical study only.
Renewal students and past recipients will be contacted directly by Scholarship America and will be asked to complete a Renewal Form and submit an updated transcript.
If your GPA has fallen below a satisfactory level, you will be required to submit a written statement explaining the reason(s) for the drop in academic performance. CI Financial, Corient, and Scholarship America will review each case collaboratively to determine next steps.
All applicants will be notified in August.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of CI Financial and Corient. Payments are distributed in late-August or early-September.
Payments are made payable to the college or vocational-technical school but mailed to the recipient’s home address.
