At Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, we are committed to helping you meet your personal and professional goals. It is part of our promise to you as an employee. One such goal you may have is to provide a college education for your children.
Lurie Children’s is sponsoring the “Children’s Children” Scholarship Program to assist the children of our employees in continuing their education in college or vocational school programs toward a career in the healthcare-related field.
We believe this program will be a valuable tool in contributing to the future pool of healthcare professionals for Lurie Children’s and the healthcare community in general.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
If selected as a recipient, an award will be granted to the child/student of an employee based on the employee’s status as follows:
It is Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s intent to grant awards to represent all levels of employees.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Students may receive a maximum of four (4) awards.
Applicants will be notified in August. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Lurie Children’s. Payment is made in one installment in late August.
