As a public charity and our region’s community foundation, The Chicago Community Trust unites generous donors, committed nonprofits, and caring residents to effect lasting change that moves our entire region forward. The Trust’s approach centers on tackling the region’s immediate needs and addressing the root causes of deep-seated issues to realize a more prosperous future for all who call metropolitan Chicago home.

Cook Scholarship Fund was established at The Chicago Community Trust to assist male high school seniors from Cook County, Illinois who plan to continue their education in college programs. The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
