Future Leaders Student Scholarship Program

Altice USA is proud to offer the Future Leaders Student Scholarship Program to dependents of eligible employees as part of our ongoing commitment to education and development.

Altice USA will award up to 40 scholarships of $1,500 to help students pay for costs associated with full-time undergraduate study at accredited colleges, universities or vocational/technical schools of choice. To qualify, applicants must be high school seniors or graduates, or currently pursuing post-secondary education.

Scholarship FAQ

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Future Leaders Student Scholarship Program must meet all the following criteria:

  • Be dependent* children, of full-time** employees of Altice USA or its subsidiaries who:
    • Have a minimum of six (6) months of continuous service with the Company prior to the application deadline date.
    • Sr. Director or below.
    • Temporary status employees are not eligible to participate in this program.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates or current post-secondary undergraduates.
  • Plan to enroll, or are enrolled in, full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school (domestic or international) for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Have a minimum high school or college, as applicable, grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

*Dependent children are children who qualify for benefits provided by the company.

**Full-time employees are defined as working over 35 hours per week

Award information:

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,500 award.
  • Up to forty (40) awards will be granted.
  • Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
  • Recipients may receive an award no more than four years.
  • Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Altice USA. Payment is made in one installment in early August.

 

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • Statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances

Financial need is not considered.

Scholarship America is solely responsible for selecting award recipients. In no instance does any officer or employee of Altice USA and its subsidiaries play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following document:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

    NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
