Univest Financial Corporation Scholarship Program
Deadline to apply: January 6, 2025 4:00 pm EST

Univest has established a scholarship program to assist children and grandchildren of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Univest Financial Corporation Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent* children or grandchildren (grandchildren do not need to be dependents), under age 23, of full or part-time employees of Univest or Univest Capital. The employee must have completed one year of continuous service by the application deadline date and be employed by Univest or Univest Capital when the awards are announced.
*Dependent children are defined as unmarried, natural, legally adopted, or stepchildren primarily dependent on the employee for support.
  • High school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study that will lead to a degree or certification at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

Children and grandchildren of officers above Vice President are not eligible to apply to the program.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, an undergraduate student will receive a $2,000 award and a vocational-technical student will receive a $1,000 award.

Awards are limited to one per family per year.

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements and may receive up to four awards maximum.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in February.
