Twin Cities Roofing Contractors Association/Roofing Industry Fund of MN has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Twin Cities Roofing Contractors Association Scholarship Program must be:
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
Children of office employees, management, and owners are ineligible to participate in this program.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award. Up to five (5) award will be granted.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a degree or certificate is earned, whichever occurs first. One additional year (a fifth year) or until a degree or certificate is obtained, whichever is first, may also be awarded on the basis of satisfactory academic performance and continued parental employment. TCRCA shall be the sole judge of renewal for this fifth year.
All applicants will be notified in April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Twin Cities Roofing Contractors Association/Roofing Industry Fund of MN. Payments are made in equal installments in early August and mid-December.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Twin Cities Roofing Contractors Association/Roofing Industry Fund of MN play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 3, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
