Walker Forge, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Walker Forge, Inc. Scholarship Program must be:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $500 to $3,000. Awards are for tuition and academic fees.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, will be considered in determining the amount of each award. Potential recipients who do not demonstrate need (or who do not provide financial information) will be eligible to receive an honorarium at the minimum amount.
All awards are renewable up to three years or until a certificate, diploma, or undergraduate degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale), full-time enrollment, and continued parental employment. If employment is discontinued except for retirement, the continuation of the scholarship will be subject to review.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Walker Forge, Inc. Payment is made in August.
All applicants will be notified in late January.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
