Bill Palmer Legacy Scholarship Program
Deadline to apply: February 14, 2025 3:00 pm CT

Neighborhood Restaurant Partners, LLC. has established a scholarship program to assist employees and children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Bill Palmer Legacy Scholarship Program must:

  • Be part-time or full-time employees working at an Applebee’s restaurant in the United States, or their children, who have a minimum of six (6) months employment with the company as of the application deadline date. This includes employees who are currently on an approved student leave of absence.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates, or current college undergraduates or graduate level students.
  • Plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Two special “Founder’s Awards” of $10,000 each will be granted to the top-ranking high school seniors. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study and must be used towards qualified education-related expenses only (i.e., tuition, fees, books, and required supplies).

Notification

All applicants will be notified in April.
