CopperPoint Insurance Companies has established a scholarship program to assist current undergraduate sophomores and juniors, who currently reside in or attend school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, or Washington, and plan to continue their education in college.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the CopperPoint Insurance Companies Community Scholarship must:

CopperPoint Community Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to ten (10) awards of $5,000 each will be granted.
Assuming there are qualified applicants, awards will be disbursed as follows:
Alaska (1), Arizona (2), California (3), Idaho (2), Washington (2)
Sherry Isenberg Memorial Award
The Sherry Isenberg Memorial Award is for a female applicant from Alaska in memory of Sherry Isenberg.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to one (1) award will be granted. Recipient must self-identify as female.
An applicant may not receive both awards in the same academic year.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Recipients may be offered other opportunities with CopperPoint Insurance Companies.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of CopperPoint Insurance Companies. Payment is made in August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated to receive an award.
Consideration will be given to students experiencing extenuating, unique, or unusual circumstances.
Assuming there are qualified applicants, preference for the Sherry Isenberg Memorial Award will be given to a female applicant from Alaska who is studying business.
Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. CopperPoint Insurance Companies will select recipients. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
