The Pentair Scholarship Fund assists children of Pentair employees worldwide to pursue postsecondary education in college and vocational programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Pentair Scholarship Fund must be:

To receive award payment, recipient, and renewal, students’ parents must continue to be employed at Pentair at the time checks are issued.
Awards are renewable up to three years on the basis of satisfactory academic performance, continued parental employment, and continued financial need as determined by Scholarship America. If no need is shown, the award will be adjusted to a $2,000 merit award.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Scholarship finalists are selected on the basis of:
Once scholarship recipients are selected, financial data is reviewed to determine the amount of each award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Pentair play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Pentair. Payments are made in July.
The award checks will be issued in U.S. currency. If requested, award payments for recipients and renewal students outside the United States and Canada may be made via wire transfer.
Applicants will be notified in late March. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
