The Center Point Energy Scholarship was established to assist dependents of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational programs. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership experiences and extra-curricular activities.
The CenterPoint Energy Chairman’s Scholarship Fund (formerly the Don D Jordan Scholarship) honors all of our past chairmen including Don D. Jordan and recently retired Milton Carroll. It was established to provide recognition to students who have shown a consistent dedication to community involvement and volunteerism, and who have been motivated by their families to help others and invest in their community. In addition, it reinforces the corporate philosophy of philanthropy.
These programs are administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
