All American Foods, Inc. has established an education assistance program to assist employees’ children who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Financial assistance is offered each year for full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the All American Foods Education Assistance Program for Children of Employees must:
The authorized annual distribution will vary. Awards up to $6,500 for students attending a four-year college or university and awards up to $4,500 for students attending a two-year college or vocational-technical school, based on the cost of tuition and books only.
Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. A student may receive multiple awards through age 24. Awards can be received for a maximum of four years.
Awards may be used for undergraduate or graduate study.
All applicants will be notified in July.
Scholarship America processes payments on behalf of All American Foods, Inc. The scholarship will be paid in two equal installments, one in August and one in December.
This is defined as an Education Assistance or subsidy program. Any dependent who meets the eligibility criteria specified will receive an award. The subsidy is considered taxable income to the employee parent and will be reported as income on the employee W2 form. Awards may be used to pay for education-related expenses.
Financial need is not considered. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of All American Foods, Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
