Altium Scholarship Program

Altium Packaging has established a scholarship program to assist immediate or extended family members of employees who plan to continue their education in two-year or vocational school programs (or equivalent – including vocational-technical CEGEP institutions) for a degree or certification in a manufacturing-related field.

Applicants to the Altium Scholarship Program must:

  • Be immediate or extended family members* of full-time Altium employees in the U.S. or Canada who have a minimum of six (6) months employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
    *Eligible family members include parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, or cousins (spouses of these family members are also eligible)
  • Be high school seniors/students in their final year of upper secondary school or graduates, or current undergraduate students.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school (or equivalent- including vocational-technical CEGEP institutions) for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Be pursuing a degree or certification in a manufacturing-related field of study.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • Statement of goals and aspirations
  • An online recommendation.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Altium Packaging play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.


If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.


All applicants will be notified in July.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Altium Packaging. Payment is made in early August.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 18, 2021 3:00 pm Central Time.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.
