Alvaria Parent, Inc. Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program
Applications will be accepted January 14, 2022 through April 15, 2022 3:00 p.m. CST

Alvaria Parent, Inc. Community Commitment Fund has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college. The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.

Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

Alvaria Parent, Inc. Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program Applicants must be:

  • Children1, age 25 and under, of regular full-time or part-time Alvaria Parent, Inc. world-wide employees who have at least one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
  • Students completing their final year of upper secondary school or graduates who plan to enroll or students who have already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent) for the upcoming academic year.

1Children are defined as natural, adopted or stepchildren or wards of the employee. Children of officers at the level of Vice-President and above are ineligible to apply.


Authorized distribution for new awards will be up to $20,000. If selected as a recipient, award amounts will be determined by location:

$5,000 – Australia, Japan, US
$4,000 – France, UK, Ireland
$3,000 – Singapore, Canada, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
$2,000 – Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Mexico, Columbia
$1,000 – China, India, Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Puerto Rico

Awards are to be used for education-related expenses.

Awards are renewable for up to three years over a maximum term of five years of school attendance on the basis of satisfactory academic performance and continued full-time attendance (i.e., a recipient may receive an award for four years and use it over a five-year period).

Awards are for undergraduate study only.


All applicants will be notified of their application status the end of May 2022.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Alvaria Parent, Inc. Community Commitment Fund. Payment is made in the beginning of August 2022.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.

Financial need is not considered. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of the Alvaria Parent, Inc. Community Commitment Fund play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of the application, the below referenced documents and recommendation form must be submitted1:

  • U.S. Applicants:
    • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
      NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload an official copy of those test scores separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
  • Non-U.S. Applicants:
    • Provide clear copies of the following educational documents from the past four years.
    • Transcript of grades (academic record) – Transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours earned for each course, and term in which each course was taken.
    • Upper-Secondary school credential/diploma/certificate if earned, and
    • Results of examinations.
  • Recommendation Form (U.S and Non-U.S. Applicants)
    • One online Recommendation Form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 20, 2022 3:00 p.m. CST

All of the above referenced documents and form must be submitted electronically by the due date and time to complete the application process.

1English translations must be provide for all non-English documents.
