AmerisourceBergen Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist associates’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational-technical school. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice within the United States or Canada.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to The AmerisourceBergen Foundation Scholarship Program must:

Award Amounts
Four (4) awards of $10,000 each will be granted to recipients attending a traditional four-year college or university; and four (4) awards of $5,000 will be granted to recipients attending a community college or vocational-technical school.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year for four consecutive years as long as they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic information, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and your application requires two (2) recommendations to be submitted on your behalf. One recommendation must be submitted from a school official, and the other must be from a community-related reference.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in late February.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of AmerisourceBergen Foundation. Payments are made in one installment in mid July.
As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s):
Two online recommendations must be submitted on your behalf no later than December 22, 2021 3:00 pm. One recommendation must be submitted from a school official, and the other must be from a community-related reference.
Do not wait until the Application deadline to request a recommendation.
Your application is not considered complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
