The Andersen Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Andersen Corporation Children of Employees Scholarship Program must be:
*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children primarily supported by or living in the employee’s household.
Children of employees at the Director level and above are ineligible to apply.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award.
Up to twenty (20) awards will be granted each year and will be issued in U.S. currency.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon enrollment in a full-time course of study and maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent), continued employment of the student’s parent at Andersen Corporation and continuation of the program by Andersen Corporation. If an active employee’s status changes due to retirement or death during the scholarship period, the scholarship will be renewable subject to the standard renewal criteria.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in late April.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
