ARLANXEO North America Scholarship Program
Application status: Closed

ARLANXEO North America has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the ARLANXEO North America Scholarship Program must:

  • Be dependent* children, age 25 and under, of full‑time ARLANXEO USA LLC or ARLANXEO Canada Inc. employees who have a minimum of 1 year (12 months) employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • Be high school seniors, high school graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates. Canadian students must be in their final year of upper or higher secondary school or be current technical or university level students.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of USA or Canada, or have a residency application pending.

Note: Students who are enrolled full-time in a 3yr+ college or university or Millwright Mechanical Technician (MTIM) Program are eligible to apply.

Dependents of retirees are eligible to participate in the program as first-time applicants or renewals in the year in which the ARLANXEO employee retires.  After the year of retirement, dependents/students are no longer eligible to participate in the ARLANXEO North America Scholarship Program.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to three (3) awards of $2,500 each will be granted to ARLANXEO Canada Inc. applicants and three (3) awards of $2,500 each will be granted to ARLANXEO USA LLC applicants. Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and continued parental employment.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Selection of Recipients
Recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of career and educational aspirations and goals
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need will not be considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of ARLANXEO USA LLC and ARLANXEO Canada Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Applicants will be notified in late June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of ARLANXEO USA LLC and ARLANXEO Canada Inc. The award checks will be issued in US or Canadian dollars. Payments are made in one installment in mid-July.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
