AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville Scholarship Program

AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children and grandchildren who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants of the AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville Scholarship Program award must be:

  • Children or grandchildren age 24 and under, of full-time AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville employees as of the application deadline date.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time graduate or undergraduate study at an accredited two- year or four- year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
Award information:

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,000 or a $750 award.
  • Up to one (1) $1,000 award and up to two (2) $750 awards will be granted each year.
  • Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
  • Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • academic record
  • demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • work experience
  • statement of goals and aspirations
  • unusual personal or family circumstances
  • an online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in early February. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of AssuredPartners Northeast, LLC-Melville. Awards will be paid in one installment in early August.

As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf.

Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
