Avery Dennison Foundation has established a scholarship program to recognize and encourage the academic achievements, accomplishments and talents of the children of Company employees and to assist them in obtaining an education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Avery Dennison US Scholars Program must be:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive $2,000.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
An essay will be required with the application but will not be used in the selection process. The essay will be shared with Avery Dennison Foundation.
Recipients will be selected to represent a cross section of Avery Dennison employees both geographically and employee levels (i.e. hourly and salaried).
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Avery Dennison play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified in early May via the same email used in the original application.
