AXA XL’s Scholarship program was established by the XL America Foundation to provide scholarships to children of AXA XL employees in America, who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Dependents of XL America Scholarship Foundation board members or donors are ineligible. Colleagues must be actively employed with AXA XL at the time the Scholarship Awards are initially disbursed.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $5,000 to $1,000. Up to ten (10) awards will be granted. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, special essay question, statement of goals and aspirations, and an online recommendation. Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of XL America Foundation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in July. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of XL America Foundation. Payments are made in early August.
