Arizona Trucking Association Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist member employees’ children and grandchildren who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Arizona Trucking Association Foundation Scholarship Program must:
**Employees of AZ Trucking Association Member companies may attend part-time (six credits per term or the equivalent). Children or grandchildren must attend full-time (12 credits per term or the equivalent).
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $500 to $3,000. Awards are not renewable, however students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants enrolled or planning to enroll in a field of study including business administration, diesel, truck body or truck mechanics.
All applicants will be notified in July.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of AZ Trucking Association Foundation. Payment is made in August.

Financial need must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award. Financial need will be calculated based on information provided by the parent(s) who claims the applicant as a federal income tax exemption. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 21, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
