This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®. Scholarship America is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants to the Badger Meter Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent children*, age 24 and under, of full-time Badger Meter, Inc. employees who have a minimum of one year employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • Also eligible are grandchildren who do not have to be dependents of the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- year or four- year college, university or vocational-technical school. Students who will graduate in December are eligible to apply. If selected to be a recipient, the award amount will be one-half of the amount appropriate for an entire academic year.

Children and grandchildren of officers are ineligible to apply to this program.

Award information:

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging in the amount of $500 to $2,500, depending on financial need.
  • The number of awards each year will vary based on the number of applications and amount of available funding.
  • Financial need will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate need.
  • Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
  • Awards are for undergraduate study only and may not be received more than four years.
  • There may be only one award distributed per family.
