Bausch + Lomb has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children of Bausch + Lomb U.S.-based employees who plan to continue their education in college, vocational or technical school programs. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice for the upcoming school year.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Children of Bausch + Lomb Executive Committee members are ineligible.
Up to twenty-five awards will be granted with up to five awards of $7,500 granted to students enrolled in a STEM field of study, and up to twenty awards of $5,000 granted to students in any field of study.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Bausch + Lomb. Payment is made to the school/university in one installment in early August.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Bausch + Lomb play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
