Bausch Health US, LLC has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children of Bausch Health U.S.-based employees who plan to continue their education in college, vocational or technical school programs. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice for the upcoming school year.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Children of Bausch Health Executive Committee members are ineligible to apply.
Up to fifteen awards of $5,000 will be granted to students enrolled in any field of study.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need will not be considered.
Applicants will be notified in April.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Bausch Health US, LLC. Payment is made to the school/university in one installment in early August.
