Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP Scholarship Program

This scholarship program was established by Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP to assist high school seniors from select high schools who plan to continue their education in college programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America┬«, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age,┬á gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP Scholarship Program must:

  • Be high school seniors attending one of the designated high schools* in which Boardwalk’s pipeline system crosses the school’s property.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

Children of Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP employees are not eligible to apply

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:

  • An award in the amount of $1,000.
  • One award will be given in each of the designated high schools, assuming there are qualified candidates. If there are no qualified applicants from a particular school, the total number of awards will be reduced accordingly.
  • Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Financial need is not considered.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • academic record
  • demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • work experience
  • statement of goals and aspirations
  • unusual personal or family circumstances
  • an online recommendation

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

All applicants will be notified of their status by April.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America process payments on behalf of Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP. Payments are made in one installment on August 1.

As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:

  1. A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf.
