Boar's Head Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program
Deadline to apply: January 13, 2025 3:00 pm CT

Boar’s Head has established a scholarship program to assist children and grandchildren of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Boar’s Head Sons and Daughters Program must be:

  • Dependent children* or grandchildren, age 25 and under as of the application deadline date, of full-time Boar’s Head Brand employees who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline. Children of deceased employees are also eligible to apply.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Dependents of any Boar’s Head employee at a Director level or above are not eligible.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to 10 awards will be granted. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and continued parental employment.

Geographical work location will be considered when determining award recipients.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in March. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Boar’s Head. Payments are made in August.
