High Demand: Only 5% of the US workforce works in areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) yet they are responsible for more than 50% of our sustained economic expansion.1 By 2022, the government plans to increase the number of STEM graduates by 1 million.
Gain Three Personal Mentors: Research shows that underrepresented minorities, first generation, and low-income students are more likely to switch from a STEM major while in college.2 This is a very intense career track that requires dedication, focus, and strong study skills. It is extremely important that you have a solid support system throughout your career. The Bradley Doctors will offer you support and lead by example. Having gone through a similar path that you are about to take, they encourage you to use their experiences as a blueprint as you determine your best fit in the health care field. The Bradley Doctors are here to help you succeed and navigate through this process by offering unlimited, valuable advice. As a recipient of the scholarship, you will be able to tap into their resources and receive unlimited career advice from the Bradley Doctors.
