Dr. Yunique Bradley

A native of Aiken, South Carolina, Dr. Yunique Bradley is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. A graduate of Aiken High School, she spent the majority of her time at South Aiken High School.

After high school, she enrolled at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Undecided on what her career path would be, she started working at Family Pharmacy and volunteering at ACTS free clinic in the community. These opportunities opened a door that she never knew existed but was eager to learn more about, especially after listening to the stories her aunt, a retail Pharmacist, would often share with her.

She received her doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Hampton University. After graduating, Dr. Yunique Bradley decided to pursue a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1). During this time she realized her love for the elderly and decided to further her pharmacy career by completing a Geriatric Residency (PGY2). After she completed her Geriatric Residency, she returned to the Hampton area where she currently works as a Home Base Primary Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Caring for our nations Veterans on a daily basis is very rewarding and Dr. Bradley shares she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling, shopping, and trying different foods.

Dr. Chastity Bradley

Dr. Chastity Bradley graduated from Silver Bluff High School in 1996. Although she was scheduled to graduate in 1997 with her original class, successful completion of all the coursework required for graduation afforded her the rare opportunity to graduate in the 11th grade.

Dr. Chas then enrolled at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA from 1996-2000 and majored in mathematics. She was always interested in one day becoming a medical doctor, particularly a pediatrician, so she incorporated math and science courses into her curriculum to get a well-balanced background. Throughout her college career, Dr. Chas also interned at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY and through her experiences as an intern she gained a newfound interest into the world of scientific research.

After graduating from Spelman College, Dr. Chas pursued her Masters Degree in Biology at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN and it was there where she was able to gain more hands-on experience in scientific research. She became more involved and intrigued with the cancer research field, particularly investigating new drugs/extracts for cancer treatment.

In 2002, Dr. Chas received her Masters in Biology yet she was still curious and wanted to further her education in cancer research by pursuing a doctorate at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While at Vanderbilt, she was immersed in a rigorous cancer research curriculum and was responsible for researching, planning, conducting, interpreting, and presenting a well-thought out cancer research project that would enhance the current understanding of the cancer field today.

After completing her doctorate, Dr. Chas became a medical writer for major pharmaceutical companies in the northeast. She was able to apply her science and strong writing skills to interpret clinical data and develop major clinical documents in the cancer research field.

In January 2021, Dr. Chas celebrated the 10th anniversary of her medical writing communications company, BioMed Writers. Dr. Chas currently resides in Nashville, TN with her husband Jermaine and son Andreas. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, and volunteering with her husband’s little league football team.
