The Heritage Group has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
Sons and daughters of company officers are not eligible to apply to the program.
The number of awards granted will be geographically proportionate to the number of applications received from each state, provided qualified applications are received.
No more than two scholarships per family will be awarded each year.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Financial need will also be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of The Heritage Group play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship America processes The Brothers scholarship payments on behalf of The Heritage Group Scholarship Fund. Payments are made in one installment in early August.
Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on March 26, 2020.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically through the Scholarship America Student Hub.
