Castle Lanterra Properties has established a scholarship program to assist active residents of eligible Castle Lanterra Properties and their dependent children who plan to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the upcoming school year.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, or national origin.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
*Dependent children are defined as natural or legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
**Residents (or children of residents) who are not in good standing as defined by the property management will not be eligible to apply.
Children of the leadership team who report directly to the President/CEO are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Up to four (4) awards will be granted, and distributed as follows:
Awards are not renewable, however, students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic information, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and a recommender.
Financial need will not be considered.
Applicants will be notified in June.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Castle Lanterra Properties. Payment is made in one installment in early August.
As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s):
A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours, and term in which the course was taken.
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 31, 2022 3:00 pm CT.
