Catalent Pharma Solutions Global Scholarship Program

Catalent Pharma Solutions has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or university programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited four-year institution of the student’s choice.

The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants to the Catalent Pharma Solutions Global Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent* children of full-time or part-time global employees of Catalent Pharma Solutions or any subsidiary of Catalent Pharma Solutions. Employees must work an average of 20 hours per week or more, have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date, and be director level or below.
    *As used herein, the phrase “dependent children” shall have the same meaning as is ascribed to that phrase in the current version of Catalent Pharma Solutions “Health and Group Benefits Owner’s Manual” or any subsequent Catalent Pharma Health Benefits guide.
  • U.S. Students
    Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • International Students
    Applicants must be students in the final year of secondary school or secondary school graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time university level studies, not subsidized by any country, for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award (or the amount of educational expenses at the chosen institution, whichever is less). Up to twenty (20) awards will be granted each year. Awards will be granted in proportion to the applications received by country location, provided there are qualified applicants. Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements

The Catalent Pharma Solutions employee parent must continue to be an active employee at the time the awards are processed.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Catalent Pharma Solutions. Payments are made in one installment in early August to U.S. students. International students will receive a wire in September upon receipt of proof of enrollment.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Catalent Pharma Solutions play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

You must upload the following documents with your application:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

Due to differences in educational systems, applicants from countries other than the U.S. must upload the following materials:

  • English translations for all non-English documents
  • Clear photocopies of the following educational documents:
    • Students currently or previously enrolled in an institution of higher education (university) must include the following documents:
      • Academic record (transcript of grades) for all higher education course work completed, and
      • Secondary school credential/diploma/certificate.
    • Current secondary school students and students who have completed less than one year of higher education (university) must include the following documents:
      • Academic record (transcript of grades) for all secondary education course work completed during the past three years, and
      • Results of academic examinations.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 31, 2021 3:00 pm CT USA.
