The Chamberlain Group LLC has established a scholarship program to assist U.S. and international employees’ children who plan to continue education in college programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Chamberlain Group Scholarship Program must be:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to four (4) awards will be granted.
Note: No awards will be granted if there are no qualified applicants. No applicant will receive the award for more than two years total.
Awards may be renewed for one additional, consecutive year or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance* in a full-time course of study, continued parental employment with The Chamberlain Group LLC or its subsidiaries, or Systems, LLC and continuation of the Program, which shall be monitored by Scholarship America.
Awards are for undergraduate study only. Recipients awarded a renewable scholarship prior to 2020 are not eligible for this program. The student’s parent must be actively employed at the time August scholarship checks are issued.
*Satisfactory academic performance is defined as maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
All applicants will be notified in May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of The Chamberlain Group LLC. Payments are made in one installment in early August. The employee must be actively employed at the time August scholarship checks are issued.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of The Chamberlain Group LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
