C.H. Robinson Foundation offers two scholarship programs to assist undergraduate students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. The programs are for:

  1. C.H. Robinson employees and their dependent children and
  2. Qualified contract carriers and their dependent children.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility
Applicants to the C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program must:

    • Be dependent* children, up to age 26, or be regular, full-time employees of:
      • C.H. Robinson who have a minimum of two years continuous service** with the company as of the application deadline date, or
      • Qualified, active*** contract carriers who have been a carrier of C.H. Robinson a minimum of one year as of the application deadline date.

    • Be students who plan to enroll in undergraduate study in any field at an accredited or bonafide college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2024-2025 academic year. Schools outside of the U.S. are considered bona fide if they have a student population, a defined curriculum, faculty, and campus.

NOTE: Dependent children must enroll in full-time undergraduate study. Employees of C.H. Robinson or employees of qualified contractors may enroll in part-time undergraduate study.

*Eligible dependent children include the following: children up to age 26, mentally or physically disabled children who rely on you for support and became disabled before age 26, natural, adopted, or foster children, stepchildren, or any child for whom you have legal custody, grandchildren who live with you and are financially dependent on you, children who are required to be covered by reason of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO).
**Calculation of eligibility is based on the continuous service date, including employment with an acquired company or affiliate of C.H. Robinson provided there is no break in service.
***Active carriers are defined as successfully hauling at least one load in the previous year from the application deadline date.

  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
