C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program
Application status: Closed

C.H. Robinson Foundation offers two scholarship programs to assist undergraduate students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. The programs are for:

  1. C.H. Robinson employees and their dependent children and
  2. Qualified contract carriers and their dependent children.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Eligibility
Applicants to the C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program must:

    • Be dependent* children, between the ages of 16 to 24, or be regular, full-time employees of:
      • C.H. Robinson who have a minimum of two years continuous service** with the company as of the application deadline date, or
      • Qualified contract carriers who have been a carrier of C.H. Robinson a minimum of one year as of the application deadline date.
    • Be high school seniors or graduates or be current postsecondary undergraduates. Students outside the United States must be in their final year of upper or higher secondary school or be current technical or university level students.
    • Be students who plan to enroll in undergraduate study in any field at an accredited or bonafide college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2022-2023 academic year. Schools outside of the U.S. are considered bona fide if they have a student population, a defined curriculum, faculty, and campus.

NOTE: Dependent children must enroll in full-time undergraduate study. Employees of C.H. Robinson or employees of qualified contractors may enroll in part-time undergraduate study.

*Dependent children are defined as biological children, stepchildren, or adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
**Calculation of eligibility is based on the continuous service date, including employment with an acquired company or affiliate of C.H. Robinson provided there is no break in service.

Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, and any unusual personal or family circumstances.

Academic evaluation of international applicants will include a review of the grade/mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant’s country and a review of the results of academic examinations.

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of C.H. Robinson Foundation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

All applicants will be notified via email in mid-April.
