Charlotte Cox

School: Tulane University, New Orleans, LA
Major: Architecture
Activities, Interests, Honors: I’m a current Honors Scholar at Tulane University, where I’m pursuing my 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with a minor in Psychology. I’m a Girls Build Advisory Council Member at the Chicago Architecture Center and an alumnus of their Teen Fellows program. I was also a summer intern at Ross Barney Architects in Chicago. In addition to architecture and psychology, some of my interests include music, reading, fashion, film, photography, travel, dance, and running or bicycling outdoors!

Additionally, I am on a Marine Energy Collegiate Competition team studying oscillating water column wave energy converters. I am on the Dean’s list for academic performance and am an active member of the New York section of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. My biggest passion is helping kids with special needs. I volunteer in the special needs classroom at my high school during breaks, as well as work at a summer camp with kids with disabilities. I will be applying to occupational therapy graduate schools this summer.
