Comfort Systems USA, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Comfort Systems USA Scholarship Program must:
Children of employees who earn $100,000 or more per year are not eligible to participate in this program.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent, and continuation of the program by Comfort Systems USA, Inc.
Awards are for graduate and undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need will not be considered.
Applicants will be notified in mid-March. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Comfort Systems USA, Inc. Payment is made in early August.
