ComRent International has established a scholarship program to assist children of domestic and Canadian employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the ComRent Family Scholarship Program must:
Children of the Senior Leadership Team are ineligible to apply.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Students may receive an award a maximum of two times.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of ComRent International. Payments are made in August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need is not considered.
Academic evaluation of international applicants will include a review of the grade/mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant’s country and a review of the results of academic examinations.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of ComRent International play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
