Conagra Brands Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who have the passion and commitment to continue their education and succeed in college, university, or vocational school.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to sex, race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, pregnancy, leave status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and/or any other characteristic or status protected by national, federal, state or local law.
Applicants to Conagra Brands Foundation Scholarship Program must be:
Applicants living outside the United States must be either in their final year of upper secondary school or graduates who plan to enroll or are already enrolled in college, university, polytechnic, vocational, or trade school studies.
**Children of employees with a salary grade at or above CL-26 are not eligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by Conagra Brands Foundation.
Previous recipients of the Gary and Barbara Rodkin Scholarship, Mike Harper Leadership Scholars Program, or Conagra National Merit Scholarship Award are not eligible to receive this award
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
A key objective of this scholarship program is to award scholarships to a group of students who reflect the workforce diversity of Conagra Brands. Consequently, a portion of the funds available for scholarship distribution is designated for awards to minority students.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, and unusual personal or family circumstances.
Financial need will be considered in determining the amount of the award. Potential recipients who do not demonstrate financial need will be eligible to receive honoraria at the minimum level.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Conagra Brands Foundation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified in late April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Conagra Brand Foundation. Payment is made in August.
