CopperPoint Insurance Company has established a scholarship program to assist current undergraduate sophomores and juniors, who currently reside in or attend school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, or Washington, and plan to continue their education in college.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the CopperPoint Insurance Companies Community Scholarship must:

CopperPoint Community Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to six (6) awards of $5,000 each will be granted.
Assuming there are qualified applicants, awards will be disbursed as follows:
Alaska (1), Arizona (1), California (2), Idaho (1), Washington (1)
Sherry Isenberg Memorial Award
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to one (1) award will be granted. Recipients must self-identify as female.
An applicant may not receive both awards in the same academic year.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Recipients may be offered other opportunities with CopperPoint Insurance Companies.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of CopperPoint Insurance Company. Payment is made in early August.
CopperPoint Community Awards
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated to receive an award.
Assuming qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants who self-identify as:
Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. CopperPoint Insurance Company will select recipients. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Sherry Isenberg Memorial Award
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Scholarship America will select the Sherry Isenberg Memorial recipient.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated to receive an award.
Assuming there are qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants studying business.

A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than February 17, 2023 3:00 pm CT.
