Corient Family Scholarship Program

As we work together to build the leading ultra-high net worth wealth manager, we’re committed to creating differentiated offerings – both for our clients and our employees. Corient has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. This site has everything you need to learn and apply to the program.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Corient Family Scholarship Program must:

  • Dependent children*, age 26 and under, of full-time- Corient domestic employees who have a minimum of 1 year employment with the company as of the application deadline date and who have an annual income of $200,000 or less.
    *Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates.
  • Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum GPA** of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
    **Previous recipients may reapply with a minimum GPA of 3.2

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $10,000 award. Up to five (5) recipients will be selected annually.

Applicants may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Recipients may only receive the award a maximum of 4 times.

Awards can be used for any education-related expenses.

Awards are for undergraduate and vocational-technical study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in June.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Corient. Payments are distributed in August.

Payments are made payable to the college or vocational-technical school but mailed to the recipient’s home address.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America in accordance with Corient’s requirements.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 30, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
