Up to 50 teachers will be selected for the grants.

I am not a tenured faculty. Can I still apply for the teaching grant?
We welcome applications from any current educator that serves as an instructor of record for their class. Instructor of record is any teacher or staff member employed to teach courses and authorize credit for the successful completion of those courses.

I have a project idea, but I’m not sure which course I’ll be teaching in Fall 2023. Can I still apply?

Tell me more about the $250 deduction.
Recipients may be eligible for a deduction of up to $250 of unreimbursed trade or business expenses, which can be used to offset the grant income you receive from Course Hero. Qualified expenses are amounts you paid or incurred for books, supplies, computer equipment (including related software and services), other equipment, and supplementary materials you use in the classroom. This deduction is for expenses paid or incurred during the tax year. Please consult with your tax advisor on the appropriate tax treatment and any specific tax questions you may have.
