Credit Suisse has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Be dependent* children, age 24 and under, of full-time U.S. Credit Suisse employees at the level of Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Exempt Non-officer, or Non-Exempt who have a minimum of two (2) years employment with Credit Suisse as of the application deadline date.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
Applicants will be notified in early June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Credit Suisse. Payments are made in one installment in early August. Checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address and are made payable to the school for the student.
Financial need as calculated by Scholarship America must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Credit Suisse play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by 3:00 p.m.
Central Time on May 19, 2020.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically through the Scholarship America Student Hub.
