Danone is delivering on our mission of bringing health through food to as many people as possible. We do this in part by supporting our communities through our employees and their families.
We each believe that our actions matter and we can make a difference every day.
Danone U.S. has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education beyond high school in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship tuition assistance and other educational support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Danone U.S. Children of Employees Scholarship Program must be:
Children of Executive Committee Members and or employees participating in Jackson, Mt. Crawford and City of Industry Unions are not eligible to apply to the program.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,500 award. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, profound life experience, and an outside appraisal. Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Danone U.S. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision of Scholarship America as final.
Applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Danone U.S. Payments are made in one installment in early August.
