At DB Schenker, we recognize the contributions of these students and the important role that education plays in their development. We believe education is the key to success. The DB Schenker Scholarship Program gives us an opportunity to invest in the education of our employees’ children. As our children grow and use their knowledge to continually improve our society, it is easy to see that this is a wise investment.
The DB Schenker Scholarship Program is funded by DB Schenker and is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
Applicants to the DB Schenker Scholarship Program must be:
*Dependent children are defined as children who qualify as federal tax exemptions to the employee.
Children of Officers and Vice Presidents and above and children of employees represented by a collective bargaining agreement are not eligible.
The total authorized distribution for the awards is $50,000.
Awards of $2,000 each will be granted to children of full-time employees.
Awards of $1,000 each will be granted to children of part-time employees.
Schenker scholarships are not automatically renewable. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in March.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of DB Schenker. Payments are made in equal installments on August 1 and December 15.

Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of DB Schenker play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
DB Schenker reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.
