Duke Realty Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Duke Realty Scholarship Program must be:
Children of Senior Vice President level titles and above are not eligible.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to ten (10) awards will be granted.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Awards are limited to one per family concurrently.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
Financial need will be considered first. Applicants who demonstrate no need may be eligible to receive a scholarship in the event there are no candidates who meet the financial need criteria.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Duke Realty Corporation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in late May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Duke Realty Corporation. Payments are made in early August
