DuPage Medical Group Scholarship Fund
Deadline to apply: May 21, 2021 3:00 pm CT

DuPage Medical Group has established a scholarship program to assist DMG employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the DuPage Medical Group Scholarship Fund must be:

  • Dependent* children, age 26 and under, of part-time or full-time DuPage Medical Group employees who have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline.*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Children of c-suite, board members, directors, and doctors are ineligible to apply.

Award Information:

  • Up to six (6) awards of $5,000 will be granted.
  • Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
  • Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent) in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at DuPage Medical Group, and continuation of the program by DuPage Medical Group.

Students in two-year programs must transfer to a four-year program by the third year to be eligible for continued renewals.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
