K. Arnold Eklund Scholarship Program
Deadline to apply: January 20, 2025 3:00 pm CT

The K. Arnold Eklund Scholarship Fund was established to assist graduating high school seniors from DeLaSalle High School and Edison High School in Minneapolis, who plan to pursue postsecondary study at a college, university or vocational-technical school leading to a career in business. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the K. Arnold Eklund Scholarship Program must be:

  • High school seniors attending DeLaSalle High School or Edison High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  • Planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Pursuing a program that will lead to a career in business.
  • Demonstrating financial need.

Awards

Up to two $2,000 awards will be granted each year to the top-ranking students without regard for the high school the student has attended. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study leading to a career in business and continuation of the program by the K. Arnold Eklund Scholarship Fund.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in February.

Payment of Scholarships
