The Ensign-Bickford Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. global employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to The Ensign-Bickford Foundation Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria:
Dependents of executive leadership and vice presidents are ineligible to apply.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 USD award. Up to 16 awards of up to $5,000 USD will be granted. Awards must not exceed the total cost of attendance for the student.
Provided there are qualified applicants, recipients will be selected in proportion to the number of applicants from each geographic area, including outside the United States.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in July via email.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Ensign-Bickford Foundation. The award checks will be issued in U.S. currency. Wire transfers are available for students outside the United States. Payment is made in August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Academic evaluation of international applicants will include a review of the grade/mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant’s country and a review of the results of academic examinations.
Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. or The Ensign-Bickford Foundation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept decisions as final.
Students may re-apply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Prior year recipients may re-apply but will be limited to a lifetime maximum of $10,000 USD in awards. First time recipients will be given priority.
