Enterprise Education Foundation Scholarship

Enterprise Education Foundation has established this program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution located in: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Enterprise Education Foundation Scholarship must:

  • Be a High school senior
  • Be a resident of Minnesota and a U.S. Citizen
  • Plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited four year not-for-profit college or university located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota for the entire academic year
  • Be pursuing a field of study in Business, Finance, MIS, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Pre-Law, or Pre-Med
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
  • Demonstrate financial need

Preference will be given to students from the following High Schools:

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first; for a total amount not to exceed $20,000. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in a full-time course of study, continuing within a designated field of study, submitting a 500 word essay reporting on both fall semester, and continuation of the program by Enterprise Education Foundation.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Students may receive only one Enterprise Education Foundation sponsored award.

Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record including GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT test scores, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an essay describing an adult, other than your parent, who has been influential in your life (500 words or less). Students must show financial need acceptable to Enterprise Education Foundation.

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. Selection of recipients and the evaluation of applications and essays is made by an Enterprise Education Foundation selection committee. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Enterprise Education Foundation. Payments are made in equal installments in early August and December 15.

As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:

  • Current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course, and term in which each course was taken.

Your application is not considered complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
