Ethanol Plant Managers' Scholarship Program

Ethanol Plant Managers’ Group has established a scholarship program to assist employees along with spouses and children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Ethanol Plant Managers’ Scholarship Program must:

    • Be a spouse or dependent* of an Ethanol Plant Managers’ Group employee.
      *Dependents are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren, or grandchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.

OR

    • Be an EPM Group Ethanol Plant employee.

AND

    • Be a high school senior or graduate, or current postsecondary undergraduate or gradate student, who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards

The authorized distribution for new awards is to be determined and may change from year to year based on available funds.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $500 to $5,000. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for vocational, undergraduate and graduate study.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, an online recommendation and two brief essays. Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Ethanol Plant Managers’ Group. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in July. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Ethanol Plant Managers’ Group. Payments are made in one installment mid-August.

As part of your application one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than June 2, 2022 3:00 pm 3:00 p.m. CT.
